MSETCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd) the State Transmission utility of Maharashtra and one of the largest transmission utilities in the State, invites applications from the dynamic, talented and professional persons for the following posts :

Candidates belonging to Open category shall furnish Demand Draft/Pay Order ofthe value of Rs.600/- & Rs. 500/- ( as the case may be) and candidates fromBackward Class categories i.e. SC,ST and the candidates belonging to VJ(A), NT(B),NT(C), NT(D), SBC & OBC who are coming under the concept of “Non CreamyLayer” shall furnish Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs.300/- & Rs. 250/- ( as the casemay be) payable to the “Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission CompanyLtd., Mumbai” (MSETCL) drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Mumbai.The demand draft/pay order should have 6 months validity period.
Applying procedure : Applications in the prescribed format duly filled in with attested copies of certificates should be submitted well in advance to the Post Box No. 8469, Mandapeshwar Post Office, Borivali (West), Mumbai – 400103 only by ordinary post so as to reach on or before 27/11/2009. Post applied for must be written on the envelope clearly.
Please note : Knowledge of Marathi is desirable. However, the candidates selected and not possessing the knowledge of Marathi will have to pass Departmental Marathi Language Examination within period of three years from the date of joining the Company.
Written Test and Selection Process : The medium of the Written Test will be English.
All candidates who pay the requisite application fees will have to appear for thewritten test scheduled to be held on Sunday, the 13th December 2009 in Mumbai.
Please note that call letters will not be sent to the candidates for this
examination. The list of the candidates whose applications are received on or before27.11.2009 (the last date of receipt of applications) will be displayed on the website(www.mahatransco.in) on 7th December 2009 alongwith roll no. of the candidates,date & time of examination, address of venue etc. and a format of call letter & information handout. Candidates are required to download the call letter format printout, fill up the particulars as specified, affix his/her recent passport size photograph on it & submit it to the invigilator at the time of examination. Candidate should also give valid e-mail id & cell no. in the application clearly & distinctly in the space provided in the format of application.
