Math is compulsory in 12th class if you want to appear in all mca entrance exams while there are some colleges which will give you direct admission but i do not think they will add any value in your resume.

The day by day opening of various media houses whether it newspaper agencies or TV channels or advertising firms or film productions in various languages like hindi, tamil, telugu has created various jobs in these sector. Mass Communications specialisations include Journalism, Film-Making and Advertising. People with a degree in Mass Communications get hired by news and entertainment television channels, magazines, production houses for TV, ad-film production houses, advertising agencies and independent film directors. Iit is not necessary to have a degree to get a job in these areas, it is highly desirable and many companies prefer candidates with professional degrees. Undergraduate courses are very useful but should ideally be combined with a post graduate degree.Still  Degrees have limited relevance in the media sector.
