Sir Syed Ahmad Khan who want to develop Mohammedan community in India,was the founder of AMU.

The AMU University currently offers over two hundred fifty courses (250)

with a student over thirty thousand.It has more than eighty (80) Departments ,two thousand (2000) teachers and other faculty members. Students from abroad, ( Africa and Asia) come to study in this University.
